Say Good bye to Food prepared from Maida flour and Sooji

Maida is a finely milled and refined flour of wheat, closely resembling cake flour, and used extensively in making Indian breads such as paratha, naan and also in Indian fast food. It is made from the endosperm (the starchy white part) of the grain, while the fibrous bran is removed in the mill. Originally yellowish in colour, maida is popular in a white texture bleached with Benzoyl Peroxide which is banned in the UK, China, and European Union. Maida is often softened using Alloxan which is known to destroy beta cells in the pancreas of rodents and other species, causing Diabetes mellitus.

Alloxan is a toxic glucose analogue, which selectively destroys insulin-producing cells in the pancreas (that is beta cells) when administered to rodents and many other animal species. This causes  insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.It selectively kills the insulin-producing beta-cells found in the pancreas, alloxan is used to induce diabetes in laboratory animals.

We get maida (flour) from wheat after the outer layer is removed. Atta is whole wheat flour. The outer brownish layer is removed from the wheat and the inner white portion is used to make maida flour.That is the reason whole wheat flour(includes the brown outer layer) is considered healthier than maida flour as it contains fiber which maida flour is missing.Maida is a refined product of wheat - meaning it is obtained after processing the wheat, which makes it less nutritious. The less a grain or vegetable is processed, the more nutrients it retains.

WHEAT => MAIDA (50%) + ATTA (40%) + SOOJI(10%)

Most healthier potion is Atta as it contians the fibers and nutritions rest are absolute waste. Body will get noting good on consuming Maida or sooji.
