Oxfam India made its presence in India during the Bihar drought during 1950, and the vision of our Organization is to provide access on the basic needs for the underprivileged across India. Our vision is
"Right to life with dignity for all" .
Oxfam India strives to secure the right to a life with dignity for all by actively engaging people and policy makers in the inclusive development of society.
We are working to ensure that everyone has access to education; health and social protection .People are able to overcome poverty by earning a decent livelihood with fair trade opportunities, women lead a life of dignity, free from violence, and communities are prepared to deal with the impact of climate change, natural and man-made disasters.
Oxfam India's programme has four main focus areas:

b) Women Empowerment
c) Livelihood Programme
d) Emergency Services.

Donation Options:
a) Educate a child and give underprivileged children access to quality education
Rs.12,000 for 10 children
Rs. 6,000 for 5 children
Rs.2, 400 for 2 children
Rs. 1,200 for 1 child.
b) Give women the power and provide new skills training to women.
Rs. 8,000 for 10 women
Rs. 4000 for 5 women
Rs. 1600 for 2 women
c) Help farmers make a living and improve productivity and better market accessibility for supporting their family.
Rs.18,000 for 18 families
Rs. 12,000 for 12 families
Rs. 6,000 for 6 families
Rs. 3,000 for 3 families.
Donation can be made through cheque issuing in favor of "Oxfam India" , we also have the option of credit card payments too. Under 80G ACT issued by the Government of India, we also provide a Tax exemption certificate for the donors who have donated.
